Distrikt41 combined our passion for food, experience in professional kitchens, and enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, creating a truly unique vibe that we desire in the vibrant centre of Alicante.
We met a many years ago working as private chefs at a ski resort. We clicked from the very beginning, not only as friends but also when we talked about food and hospitality, despite our totally different backgrounds.
First, let us introduce ourselves:
Danny is our smoke-and-barbecue fanatic, with hospitality running through his veins. With more than two decades of experience across every corner of the restaurant world, he now combines that background with his deep knowledge of wine. After completing multiple wine degrees, Danny became our sommelier and maître. His love for small producers and truly great wines shapes the soul of our wine list.
Joris brings a wealth of experience from several Michelin-star restaurants, where he worked his way up as sous chef and head chef. He’s known for his refined taste, precision, and the kind of determination that can lift any kitchen to its full potential. His cooking skills form the backbone of the creative energy you taste at Distrikt41.
